Manchester City may likely be without midfielder, Bernardo Silva, when they tackle West Ham United in the Premier League fixture this weekend.

The Portuguese international sustained a minor groin injury while on international duty in a 1-1 friendly draw with Croatia back in September.

Silva will not feature for Portugal when they clash with Poland on Tuesday in the UEFA Nations League.

According to Goal, the Portuguese Football Federation, in a statement, said: “Following medical and diagnostic tests performed by the FPF Health and Performance Unit, player Bernardo Silva was considered unavailable for the meeting against Poland.”

Silva’s side are currently on top of the Premier League table with 32 points from 12 games.

Pep Guardiola’s City will take on West Ham on Saturday evening at the London Stadium after defeating Manchester United 3-1 in their last fixture.
