Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has sent a strong message to former Red Devils captain, Gary Neville following his side’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Goals from Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard ensured Mourinho’s men drew against the Gunners at Old Trafford.
However, Shkodran Mustafi and Marcos Rojo did score for the visitors.
Neville has been openly critical of United and their manager this term but Mourinho has, however, said the former defender must be thinking now that the club has a very good right-back for ten years after drawing with Arsenal.
“Gary Neville must be thinking now Manchester United has a very good right-back for ten years,” Mourinho told the BBC.
“There was big soul by the players, fantastic attitude from the first minute.
“We should win the game. We made two big mistakes for the goals.
“The second goal comes in an awful moment when the team was on top of the game.”
“We drew 2-2, but we scored four goals, and even when we play well we always shoot ourselves.
“Reality is, in last four matches, we didn’t lose. Bad results yes, but we didn’t lose.”
Manchester United will now tackle Fulham in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday.
