Arsenal goalkeeper, Bernd Leno, has predicted between Manchester City and Liverpool the club that would likely lift the Premier League trophy this season.
Leno said that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have the upper hand in the title race for more than one reason.
This is because while Man City may be two points adrift of Liverpool at the moment, the Citizens do have four games left to Liverpool’s three.
The match in hand comes this evening as Pep Guardiola’s men travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.
Manchester City will move one point above Liverpool if they win at Old Trafford.
The Arsenal keeper also pointed out that Liverpool’s exploits in the Champions League was another reason Man City will win the title.
“(It will be) Manchester City first, because Liverpool also have the Champions League, so maybe they will lose some power and energy from that,” Leno told Sky Sports.
“I believe they have a realistic chance against Barcelona, it’s 50-50, but City only have the FA Cup final and the Premier League,” Leno added.
