Former Everton, Aston Villa and Scotland striker, Andy Gray, has revealed that three clubs are better than Manchester United this season.
In his rating, Gray said Manchester United are nowhere near winning the Premier League title this season and are only the fourth best team in the league.
United had won two and lost two of their first four games of the season.
They are the fifth favourites to land the title for the first time since 2013.
“Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea are head of United with the bookies.
“Listen, they finished second to sensational team last season, we mustn’t forget that,” Gray said of United on beIN SPORTS.
“They finished second, albeit a country mile behind them.
“So, have they closed the gap on Manchester City? Did they close it last year?
“No they didn’t. The gap got wider and wider last year.
“Having spent £400m, are they any closer to winning the title?
“I think right now, and it’s only right now from what I’ve seen this season, I think there are three teams that look better than them.”
