Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has been hit with a fresh injury problem ahead of his side’s vital Premier League clash against Brighton on Sunday.
Speaking at Friday’s press conference, Klopp disclosed that his forward, Sadio Mane, who has scored 19 goals in 42 games this season, has been hit with another fitness issue ahead of their final EPL game of the season against the Seagulls at Anfield.
The Reds boss, however, didn’t mention if it will affect the 26-year-old chances of starting the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 26.
Asked if Mane would be fit for the home clash against Brighton, Klopp responded:
“We will see. It is not the same injury.
“It’s a fresh problem. ‘I’m pretty close!”.
Klopp’s men need three points against Brighton to 100 percent secure Champions League football for next year.
