EPL: Liverpool receive huge boost ahead of Huddersfield clash

Liverpool players, James Milner, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are all set to be fit for Liverpool’s clash against Huddersfield on Saturday, according to Metro Uk.

The Reds trio have all been suffering with various injuries, with Van Dijk and Salah picking up issues during international match.

Milner was substituted during the goalless draw against Manchester City just before the international break and was expected to miss the rest of the month to a hamstring injury.

But the 32-year-old has made a quick recovery and could be included in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven on Saturday.

Footage of Salah hobbling off the pitch while playing for Egypt raised concerns among Liverpool fans, but the Reds medical staff do not believe the muscle strain in serious.

The forward returned to Liverpool in the last few days and was assessed by the medical team and Salah is now set to return to training.

Van Dijk too is in line to play the match at the weekend, struggling with a rib injury on international duty.

Netherlands boss Ronaldo Koeman has already indicated the injury is not a serious one, but revealed that the centre-back would not play against Belgium on Tuesday night.

This boost will be a relief for Klopp after Sadio Mane became the latest Liverpool player struck down by injury on international duty.
