Claude Puel, Leicester City manager, has hinted on the possibility of Nigeria international, Ahmed Musa leaving the club before the January transfer window closes.
The Nigeria International has failed to earn a place at the King Power Stadium, despite Puel resting a number of starters in his team.
Puel, who hinted on Musa’s exit, however, expressed the willingness to keep Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani.
Speaking with Skysports, Puel said, “This period is always a difficult period with speculation about different players.
“I am happy with ‘Slim’. We have a lot of strikers and offensive players and we need to have good balance to give them game time.”
On if Musa might go in January, Puel said, “We will see. Perhaps it could be a possibility. We will see with the player and the opportunity for the club also.
“I need to have discussions about some players.”
