Former Chelsea star, Mark Bosnich, has warned Frank Lampard against rejecting a move to Stamford Bridge.
Bosnich said the ex-England international may regret it forever if he does not accept the offer to become the new manager of Chelsea.
Lampard is expected to takeover at Chelsea following Maurizio Sarri’s departure to Juventus.
However, there is still no concrete news on when the deal will be done.
Bosnich, a former Chelsea goalkeeper urged his old team-mate to take his ‘dream job’ in west London.
“If he stays with Derby and just say, for example, he loses seven of the first ten games and things aren’t going particularly well, he’ll forever be saying to himself, ‘I should have taken that opportunity’,” the Australian said on Thursday’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
