Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp has contacted Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Adrien Rabiot to discuss a possible move to Liverpool, according to reports.
Barcelona have also attempted to sign the 23-year-old during the summer transfer window but were unable to agree on a deal with the French champions.
Rabiot’s current contract with PSG will expires at the end of the season and the midfielder has rejected two offers of a new contract from his club.
According to ESPN, Liverpool have now approached Rabiot’s mother and agent to discuss possible move of the Frenchman.
The report also claimed that Klopp has personally spoken to Rabiot about a potential move to Liverpool.
Meanwhile, the midfielder has already admitted that he was a Liverpool fan and would be interested in securing a move to England.
“I would love to play in the Premier League,” Rabiot said in an interview with RMC Sport last year.
“There’s not necessarily any club in particular, even though when I was young I was a big Liverpool fan.”
