Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp blamed his defenders for their shock home defeat to Swansea City.
It was the first time in Premier League history Swansea won at Anfield as The Reds lost 2-3 to the relegation-threatened South Wales side.
It was also Liverpool’s first Anfield defeat in a year.
Fernando Llorente scored twice for the visitors shortly after the interval only for Roberto Firmino to drag Liverpool level with a brace.
At the post-match conference, Klopp expressed disappointment at his players for allowing an unmarked Gylfi Sigurdsson notch a winner 16 minutes from time.
“The most disappointing moment was their third – there was nearly everything wrong around this goal,” said the Liverpool boss.
“It started with a long ball, our reaction was not good. We couldn’t switch back into a defensive mode.
“That was our biggest mistake. We were passive. They took their opportunity. There was a Swansea player free in the box and it makes no sense.
“We come out after half-time and we need to be spot-on immediately.
“One of the first mistakes is that they even got the corner. There was a throw-in, we were too late and weren’t concentrated.
“Then we concede the corner, we lose the first challenge and I don’t know how Llorente can be all alone. It’s pretty difficult not to see him and leave him alone in the six-yard box to score the goal.
“The goal had an influence on us and obviously them. Their second goal was a brilliant cross and a brilliant header, I can easily accept something like this, but obviously we should have avoided the pass and the cross. That should be possible.”
Klopp added: “I don’t look for luck, but it was obvious we didn’t have much luck today.
“The defending around all three goals was not good enough. 100%. That’s a very important part of the game. It was very disappointing today.”
