EPL: Jurgen Klopp warns Chelsea, Man City, United, others

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has issued a warning to Premier League title rivals, insisting his team still has more to display this season.

Liverpool have won four out of four of their Premier League matches so far, beating West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Leicester City to take full points from their first four games.

The Reds finished 25 points adrift of champions Manchester City last term but there is a consensus that Liverpool could be genuine title contenders this season.

Klopp, however, insisted that there is still much more to come from his team.

Brazilian star, Neymar, had during an interview with Express Sports, snubbed Liverpool in his list of teams to finish top four in the Premier League this season.

“The players are not at their top level yet,” Klopp was quoted by Metro UK as saying.

“That is because we are in the early part of the season. It is normal.

“Everybody should know we have a lot of work to do still, but if they don’t, then I have told them.

“When you win four times it sounds really crazy to say this, but it is still part of the pre-season for a very long time after the summer.

“From mid-September, we play every three days. So we do the work now, and this is how it is – it is normal that you are not quite at 100 per cent in the games.”
