Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho, has revealed manager Maurizio Sarri’s odd superstition, as they continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.
According to Jorginho, Sarri would never touch the match ball even if goes out close to him.
“It’s really easy to understand him you know.
“The way he seems – that’s how he is. He has no secrets. He’s a simple guy. He has his beliefs, his superstitions. Everyone does.
“For example, he won’t touch the match ball ever. Even if we’re losing, the ball goes out and we need to get the ball back in play as fast as possible, he won’t go near it. No way – he won’t touch it.
“Then there are other things too, but that’s normal, no?” the midfielder told Chelsea TV.
Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace, moved them above Liverpool and up to second in the table behind Manchester City.
