TalkSPORT host, Simon Jordan, has predicted Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to win the 2019/2010 English Premier League (EPL) title ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Jordan believes the Reds can win this season’s Premier League title if they can keep their attackers, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino fit.
Man City won the Premier League title ahead of Liverpool last season after the Champions League winners finished in second position on the English topflight league table.
“Manchester City have an elite coach… but I think Liverpool will win the Premier League,” Jordan said on Friday’s Sports Breakfast.
“If they can keep Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino fit, it doesn’t look like they’re going to add to their roster significantly but they’ve got players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain coming back in with a point to prove and he was doing really well for them behind he got that injury.
“I think it will be Liverpool but I think it’ll be nip and tuck between them and Manchester City,” he added.
Liverpool will kick-off their 2019-20 Premier League season on August 9 when they tackle Norwich.
