Manchester United players were jubilant after being told about Jose Mourinho’s sack, according to reports.
Mourinho was fired following a brief meeting with executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, at the club’s training ground on Tuesday morning.
Woodward then personally delivered the news to the players.
Mourinho had fallen out with several United players during his time at the club including Pogba, Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw and Eric Bailly. The Portuguese left Pogba on the bench, for United’s defeat to Anfield, which happened to be his last match in charge.
But according to the Daily Mirror, Pogba was leading the celebrations at the club’s training ground, after being told about Mourinho’s departure and was even high-fiving teammates.
