Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson, has lauded fellow teammate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, following his side’s 1-0 victory over Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League.
A second half goal from Mohamed Salah gave Jurgen Klopp’s side all three points against the hosts.
Henderson hailed Alexander-Arnold for his “mentality” and “solid performance” against Brighton.
“That is Trent all over,” Henderson was quoted by Metro UK as saying at post-match.
“His mentality is very mature for his age. I thought he had another good, solid performance.
“He will probably be sore in the morning but his mentality is strong. He lasted the 90 minutes. He was struggling in the warm-up but he forgot about it and got on with it.”
The win over Brighton means Liverpool are now seven points ahead of second-placed Manchester City on the Premier League table.
