EPL: Hazard hints on future with Chelsea ahead of Liverpool clash

Chelsea midfielder, Eden Hazard has insisted that he is loving life at Chelsea under new manager, Maurizio Sarri, but is not close to agreeing to a new contract.

Following his outstanding World Cup performance for Belgium, Hazard has thrived under the management of Antonio Conte’s successor.

The 27-year-old has 18 months left in his current contract and is coveted by Real Madrid, but despite his progress on the pitch, there have been no development in terms of committing his long-term future to the FA Cup holders.

“I haven’t signed a contract. Not yet. Not yet,” Metro UK quoted him as saying.

“It is a pleasure to be there. I just want to keep going. I am the same player as two years ago, three years ago. I’m now in a period that I score a lot of goals, and hopefully I keep on scoring. It won’t be simple. Definitely not in the Premier League. I’m feeling good since the FA Cup final. Something you see.

“I play in strong teams, here with Chelsea and with Belgium who were very good at the World Cup, and that helps me to perform better too.”
