EPL: Hazard gives Chelsea condition amid Real Madrid speculation

Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard has told the club owner, Roman Abramovich to make statement on signings this summer if he wants him to renew his contract.

The Belgium international has two years left on his current deal with the West London club.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past few months.

Hazard, however, has called on Abramovich to sign new players that can win the Premier League and Champions League next season before he will make his decision on whether to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge or not.

Asked about progress over a new deal, Hazard told reports: “I’m waiting for new players next season. We’ll see.

“I want good players, because I want to win the Premier League next season.

“Yeah, [I have to think about] a lot of things, and then we will see. That’s why I’m taking my time. It’s something big.”

Hazard added: “I need two more trophies: Champions League and FA Cup. I think, to play Champions League next season is important. To win trophies also.

“Trophies are important. FA Cup, League Cup, Premier League, Champions League. You know? And it’s more important for me, because I’ve never won this one. That’s why I want to win.”

Chelsea will look to end a disappointing season on a high this Saturday when they face Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
