Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, has admitted he is not on the same level as his “good friend” Mohamed Salah, who now stars for Liverpool.
The pair briefly played together at Stamford Bridge, where Salah struggled for game time.
But since returning to English football in 2017, the Egyptian has taken the Premier League by storm. He won the Golden Boot last season with 32 goals, a record number in a 38-game Premier League season.
This season, Salah is just one strike off top scorer, Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
In an interview with NBC Sports, Hazard spoke about his favourite players.
“I like (Luka) Modric. He’s more of a midfielder than me but, of course, I like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Mo Salah is one of my good friends and he’s doing something incredible.
“I try to look at this player and this player and try to reach that level,” he said.
