EPL: Hargreaves, Wright predict teams that will finish in top four after Man Utd defeat

Former Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, has insisted the club will still finish in the top four this season, despite their 2-1 loss to Wolves on Tuesday night.

United could have gone into third place with a win, but now sit in fifth place out of Champions League places

The race for the top four remains tight, with just three points separating Unai Emery’s side and sixth-placed Chelsea.

United are level on points with fourth-placed Spurs, but have played a game more and are in danger of slipping further behind when Mauricio Pochettino’s team take on Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

“Before Manchester United’s loss to Wolves I would have said they would be in the top four for sure but that result changes everything.

“Tottenham I think will be alright but Arsenal I think will miss out. Their home form is exceptional but away from home, they are poor.

“I still think United will sneak in with Spurs and Arsenal and Chelsea will miss out,” he told Premier League Productions. Arsenal legend Ian Wright disagreed, however, and backed Arsenal and Spurs to qualify through the league.

“I’m going with Arsenal third and Tottenham fourth,” Wright argued.
