Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has lauded Manchester United caretaker boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s start to life at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer, who replaced former Red Devils’ manager, Jose Mourinho in December, has won all five of his matches in charge of United.
Guardiola said Solskjaer’s start in the Premier League was much better than his own, adding that the Norwegian gaffer is getting incredible results.
“His [Solskjaer] start is much better than mine, I lost my first game and drew the second,” Guardiola was quoted by Metro UK as telling reporters ahead of Man City’s Premier League clash with Wolves.
“He won all the games. He is a young manager, getting incredible results. I saw a few minutes of games they played and they played good.
“But it is not my business to talk about other opponents, we have a tough game around the corner against Wolves.
“It will be a tough game. We have one day off and then prepare for the game.”
Guardiola’s side will tackle Wolves on Monday night in their next Premier League fixture after defeating Burton 9-0 in the Carabao Cup encounter on Wednesday, while Solskjaer’s men will face Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
