Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has admitted he cannot drop Bernardo Silva from his starting XI.
The 24-year-old has been in sublime form for the reigning Premier League champions this season, netting 11 goals and assisting eight more in all competitions.
Guardiola, who is known for his rotation policy, explained why he simply can’t drop Silva from his starting line-up.
“What Bernardo has done this season is a consequence of the way he accepts his role.
“He works so hard and the rewards are there. Right now with the way he plays I cannot do anything else but put him on the pitch and let him play.
“He’s so important for us. What he’s done for us is the best,” Guardiola told Sky Sports.
