Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has included a Nigerian descent, Gavin Bazunu, in his side’s 2019 Asia pre-season tour this week.

Bazunu is in contention to make his first-team debut for the Premier League champions when Man City face West Ham United in their first pre-season game on Wednesday, according to Allnigeriasoccer.

Man City will also play either Wolves or Newcastle United in the Premier League Asia Trophy play-off game on Saturday.

Bazunu joined Man City in the January transfer window this year from Shamrock Rovers.

The young goalkeeper made his debut for City Under18s in an Under18 Premier League clash against Stoke City in February this year.

Other goalkeepers included in the squad are: experienced shot stopper, Claudio Bravo and second choice goalkeeper Daniel Grimshaw.
