Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas has spoken on playing under new manager, Maurizio Sarri.
Chelsea will play against Perth Glory in Western Australia on Monday in their first pre-season game.
The Blues will line up the likes of Cesc Fabregas, David Luiz, Pedro and new signing Jorginho, who are mainly players who did not participate in the World Cup.
Fabregas, who was left out of Spain’s World Cup squad, wants to use the trip to Perth to make an early impression on Sarri.
“It’s a new start for me and the players. With a new manager, we all need to prove ourselves,” ESPN quoted Fabregas as saying ahead of the game.
“We need to show him what we can do, that we deserve to play. We’re very excited about it.”
