EPL: Fabregas attacks Sarri

Monaco midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has attacked Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, describing the Italian as stubborn and superstitious.

Fabregas said the former Napoli boss does not listen to advice from anybody.

Euro Soccer quoted the Spaniard as saying that Sarri who took over at Stamford Bridge last season, only believes in his own ideas.

Fabregas left Chelsea for Monaco last season after being snubbed by Sarri who preferred his Real Madrid import, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho, in the midfield.

Fabregas, while speaking about Sarri, said, “He’s very superstitious and stubborn in this way.

“He has an idea of how he wants to play and the football that he really wants to play.

“No matter what you tell him and what you advice him he will never change.”
