Arsenal manager, Unai Emery has stated that he may start new signing, Denis Suarez in Gunners’ Premier League clash with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
Emery said this on Friday during his pre-match press conference.
Suarez joined Arsenal on transfer deadline day (Thursday) from Barcelona.
Emery has now discussed the possibility of Suarez starting on Sunday for the Emirates club against Man City.
“If he [Suarez] starts, I have confidence in him. I am thinking about all the players,” Emery was quoted by Mirror UK as telling reporters.
“Suarez started to train yesterday [Wednesday] and today with the group. He has big character, he has the quality to play.
“I think he is good. He adapts quickly and he is a player with quality. He can help us with his quality but also his ambition to do something important to him.
“It’s a good challenge for him to help us.”
