EPL: Dortmund tell Manchester City Julian Weigl’s price tag

Premier League champions, Manchester City have reportedly been told that they will have to pay £68million for Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Julian Weigl during the January transfer window.

According to the Daily Star, City have already made their interest known to Dortmund, and the Citizens have learned that they will have to pay £68m in order to secure his services at the start of 2019.

The report also claimed that City manager, Pep Guardiola is believed to be seeking a long-term replacement for Fernandinho, and it is understood that Weigl is the Spaniard’s first choice target.

Weigl joined Dortmund from Munich in the summer of 2015.

He has made over 120 appearances for the Bundesliga giant in all competitions.

Guardiola’s side have won three and drawn one of their four Premier League matches this season.

City will face Fulham in their next EPL fixture this weekend at the Etihad Stadium.
