EPL: David Luiz reveals club he’ll join after leaving Chelsea

Chelsea defender, David Luiz has revealed that he will return to Benfica when he finally leaves Stamford Bridge.

The 31-year-old’s current deal at Chelsea will expire at the end of the season.

According to Brazilian outlet, Fox Sports, Luiz has already opened talks with the Portuguese giants regarding a potential return to his former club.

Luiz played for Benfica between 2007 and 2011, scoring six goals from 132 appearances in all competitions.

The Brazilian centre-back is expected to feature for Maurizio Sarri’s side when they tackle Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
