Former Premier League champions, Chelsea have finally decided not to make a move for Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey in the January transfer window.
Recall that Ramsey was set to sign a new long-term deal with Arsenal before the Gunners boss, Unai Emery instructed the club to end negotiations with the midfielder.
Ramsey’s contract expires in the summer and the Welshman, who will leave Emirates at the end of the season, is attracting the attentions of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
But Daily Star is now reporting that the Blues are having second thoughts over signing Ramsey in January.
The report claimed that one of the reasons Stamford Bridge club was having a second thought in signing Ramsey was because Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri has been impressed with the improved form of midfielders, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in recent weeks and another midfield addiction may now not be needed in his squad.
Chelsea will take on Crystal Palace on Sunday evening in the Premier League fixture.
