Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Maurizio Sarri to become their new manager.
The 59-year-old left Napoli earlier this week after spending three years at the club.
According to Sky Italy, Chelsea have reached a deal in principle with Sarri to succeed Antonio Conte.
Conte, a former Juventus manager, masterminded Chelsea’s 2016/17 Premier League title-winning campaign and finished last season by beating Manchester United at Wembley to clinch the FA Cup.
Speaking after last weekend’s win over United, Conte told reporters, “When you have this type of season there are moments that you have some questions for yourself.
“But I think, also in this season, in a difficult season like this, I showed I’m a serial winner.
“This is the truth. To win in this way this season give me more satisfaction than my wins in the past.”
Sarri is said to be drawing up his transfer plans and is keen to bring Elseid Hysaj, Raul Albiol and midfielder Piotr Zielinski with him to west London.
