Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has slammed the club’s fans who voiced their dissatisfaction during a third consecutive 0-0 draw.
Sections of the Stamford Bridge crowd booed their team during and after the Blues 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Leicester left West London with a well deserved point, despite having been reduced to 10 men during the second half after Ben Chilwell’s dismissal.
Antonio Conte was subjected to jeers after he opted to substitute Eden Hazard for the tenth time this season.
Tiemoue Bakayoko was also singled out for criticism following another underwhelming performance in the Chelsea engine room.
Courtois told reporters after the match, “It doesn’t help when the fans boo and whistle after each misplaced pass, said Courtois after the game.
“We didn’t play well but that’s when we need the fans behind us.
“I don’t think it is only Morata’s problem, also the other players, because we are not scoring goals, we are not conceding, but we are not creating chances.
“I think we played with a lot of top players against Arsenal, and then again today against a very good team. I think a lot of our players were tired.
“In the first half Leicester ran more than us, they played better than us. But we knew we were playing against a good opponent, maybe the worst opponent we could have played in this moment. We suffered a lot in the first half.”
