EPL: Chelsea forward demands Hazard’s number 10 shirt, with Belgian set for Real Madrid

Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi, increasingly wants to stay at the club, but wants assurances he would be the man to replace Eden Hazard, who is set for Real Madrid, Goal reports.

Hazard looks likely to leave for Spain, after he confirmed in an interview after the final Premier League game of the season, that he, “has made his decision,” regarding his future.

Madrid are yet to agree a fee with the Blues for the Belgian as they haggle over a price between €100million and €130m.

Chelsea are, however, trying to retain Hudson-Odoi, having rejected four offers from Bayern Munich in January.

The 18-year-old’s desire to want a move away has softened, after Maurizio Sarri gave him four Premier League starts in a row, before he suffered an achilles tendon rupture against Burnley in April.

Hudson-Odoi is now ready to open talks over a new deal and has made it clear that getting the no.10 shirt that Hazard wears will be key.
