Ex-Liverpool captain, Jamie Carragher, has claimed his former team can no longer win the Premier League title, as the race is over.
Carragher was speaking in reaction to Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Leicester City on Monday night.
Vincent Kompany scored a 30-yard screamer, as the champions put themselves in pole position to retain their trophy with only one game left.
Speaking on Monday Night Football, Gary Neville said: “Here were 20 minutes left on the clock and I was going to say Vincent Kompany you dancer, but I thought it was a little bit too early for me to go with that line.
“It’s still a bit too early…”
But Carragher replied: “No that’s it. That’s it.”
Neville added: “Is it possible that both teams are going to win this many games? It’s ridiculous.”
