Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has called on Gunners fans to exercise patience with manager, Unai Emery’s style of play.
Aubameyang said this following Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at the weekend in the Premier League.
Goals from Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva in either half of the match ensured that City defeated the Unai Emery’s men at the Emirates Stadium.
Aubameyang wants the club’s fans to give Arsenal players some time to get adapted to Emery’s tactics.
“We still need some time to adapt to the new manager and to integrate the new players,”Aubameyang told ESPN.
“It is hard to test ourselves in a first game like this against City because they are so strong.
“We have to stay positive, work on the things we did well and improve on the rest.
“We will have a better idea next weekend after the Chelsea game.
“The message of the new coach is all about showing character, to put a lot of intensity, play high up the pitch and implement a big pressing.
“That’s the style we will play this season.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal will face Chelsea in their next EPL match this weekend.
