EPL: Aubameyang makes Premier League history in Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Tottenham

Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Sunday made history in his side’s Premier League 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (2), Alexandre Lacazette (1) and Lucas Torreira (1) ensured victory for Unai Emery’s side at Emirates.

However, Eric Dier and Harry Kane did score for the visitors.

According to OptaJoe, Aubameyang’s two goals against Fulham made him the first player to score with 10 consecutive shots on target in the Premier League since October 2007 (Benni McCarthy for Blackburn).

The Gabonese international broke former Blackburn striker, Benni McCarthy’s record with his brace that also extended his Premier league tally to 10 goals this season.

The 29-year-old will hope to lead the Gunners to victory when they tackle Manchester United in the Premier League fixture on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.

Arsenal are now occupying the fourth position in the English topflight league table with 30 points from 14 games.
