Former Chelsea defender, Ashley Cole, and ex-Tottenham and Liverpool midfielder, Jamie Redknapp, have identified the problems with the current Chelsea squad.
Cole said his former side are lacking the quality to challenge for the Premier League title this season because they do not play arrogant football anymore.
In the same vein, Redknapp said Chelsea lack the willpower to fight back, adding that as soon as things start to go wrong for them, they go missing.
Chelsea are fighting for the EPL top four and now the club seem to have found the light at the end of the tunnel, but Cole insists they are missing some key ingredients.
The former Chelsea defender said his old team need to be more arrogant and get in the faces of their opponents to be more effective moving forward.
“Chelsea have missed that bit of bite this season and I don’t think they play arrogant anymore,” Cole told Sky Sports.
Redknapp said, “The manner of the defeats is worrying. They have been blown away by teams. As soon as things start to go wrong, they go missing.”
