Denis Suarez is set to make his debut for Arsenal, when they travel to face Manchester City on Sunday in the Premier League, the UK Mirror reports.
The Spaniard, who played under Gunners boss Unai Emery at Sevilla, was signed on a six-month loan from Barcelona on Deadline Day.
He could slot straight into the middle of Arsenal’s midfield, or alternatively be played out right on the wing, where he used to feature for Emery in Spain.
Bernd Leno will no doubt start in goal. Ahead of him, Emery has the likes of Carl Jenkinson, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Shkodran Mustafi and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Captain Laurent Koscielny meanwhile is fit to return, despite a recent jaw injury, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan could feature after overcoming a foot problem.
