EPL: Arsenal set to sign James Rodriguez in £63million transfer

James Rodriguez is being heavily linked with a sensational big-money move to Arsenal this month.

Don Balon reports the Gunners have had a £63million offer accepted for the Bayern Munich midfielder, who is on loan from Real Madrid.

It is believed Liverpool are interested too, but the Premier League leaders have yet to make an offer.

Rodriquez signed a two-year loan from Real Madrid in July 2017 and it appears he is not needed back in Spain.

The 27-year-old has struggled for form and with injuries this season.

Manchester United are long-term admirers but Arsenal are said to be in the driving seat, as Unai Emery is keen to add to his squad.

Any move would raise more questions about Mesut Ozil’s future, the £350,000-a-week playmaker, who is already failing to hold down a place in the side.
