Premier League giants, Arsenal have reportedly shortlisted three players as potential replacements for midfielder, Aaron Ramsey in the January transfer window.
Recall that Ramsey was set to sign a new long-term deal before the Gunners boss, Unai Emery instructed the club to end negotiations with the midfielder.
Ramsey’s contract expires in the summer and the Welshman is attracting the attentions of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Express is now reporting that Unai Emery and Arsenal’s head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat have identified Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella, Atlanta United’s Miguel Almiron and Porto’s Hector Herrera as possible options for Ramsey.
Meanwhile, Emery’s men defeated Blackpool 2-1 in the Carabao Cup fixture played on Wednesday night at the Emirates Stadium.
The North London club will now take on Liverpool on Saturday in the Premier League fixture.
