Arsenal and Manchester United are ready to battle for AS Roma star, Cengiz Under, according to reports in Italy.
The 21-year-old is a hot target in the transfer market, having put up an excellent performance at Roma since joining the club in the summer of 2017.
Under is constantly improving at Roma and enjoyed a good first season in Italy, having a total of eight goals to his name and providing two assists in 32 appearances.
Corriere Dello Sport claims that Roma are prepared to sell the young star, but only if their £44million asking price is paid.
The forward already has three goals and four assists in 10 games so far this season and is being targeted by a host of clubs in January.
Manchester City and Barcelona are also scouting Under, but Arsenal have been monitoring the Turkey international since his days at Super Lig side, Basaksehir.
Roma won the race to sign Under last summer and the forward signed a five-year contract with the Serie A side.
Arsenal, City and United are reported to be ready to meet Roma’s asking price, but a bidding war could erupt if multiple offers are submitted.
United boss, Jose Mourinho is desperate to have more options in the wing, having deployed strikers Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford on the flanks for much of the season so far.
