Chelsea midfielder, Ethan Ampadu has said that he is working hard to show manager, Maurizio Sarri that he can be included in his starting XI at the Stamford Bridge this season.
The Wales international is still battling to get into Sarri’s first team squad this season.
Ampadu featured for Wales on Friday as they beat the Republic of Ireland 4-1 in their UEFA Nations League opener, playing in a similar role to that of fellow Blues teammate, Jorginho at the base of the midfield.
The 17-year-old, however, is aiming for a first team spot under Sarri in the Premier League as well to get his career firing with the West London club.
“You could say there’s been frustration on one hand, but at the same time I’m getting experience training with the players,” Ampadu told Sky Sports.
“I’m just trying to improve to get into the team.
“This season’s plans are this season’s plans and at the moment I’ve just to keep improving to try and get in the team.
“I want to show the manager what I can do.”
