EPL: Alexis Sanchez set to undergo medical with new club

Manchester United forward, Alexis Sanchez, is set to undergo a medical with Inter Milan on Tuesday, according to Sky Sports.

The Serie A club will sign the Chilean on a one-year loan deal, with the option to buy for £14million ($17m) at the end of the season.

Inter’s rivals, Roma, were keen on Sanchez, but it appears they could not afford the Chilean.

Sanchez has endured a tough spell at Old Trafford, since he joined from Arsenal in January 2018, scoring only three Premier League goals.

He was left out of the United squad that beat Chelsea 4-0 on Sunday and is doubtful for Monday’s away clash at Wolves.

It is believed that Red Devils boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is desperate to get rid of the £505,000-a-week flop.
