Manchester City forward, Sergio Aguero has revealed what he told his manager, Pep Guardiola, after being substituted in their 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
The Argentine star did not look pleased with Guardiola after he was pulled off in the Premier League clash.
Aguero scored City’s second of the game as Pep Guardiola’s side sealed the victory at the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola decided to bring off Aguero for Ilkay Gundogan with 15 minutes remaining to protect City’s 2-1 lead.
But Aguero was far from happy with the decision, and had several words for Guardiola as he made his way off the pitch
Speaking after the game, Aguero played down the incident and revealed he told Guardiola that he wanted to continue. “It’s fine,” he told Sky Sports.
“I said I will work because we’re winning.”
The manager’s decision turned out to be a good one as Gundogan scored to secure a 3-1 victory for the Premier League champions.
