Jose Mourinho’s job at Manchester United is not under immediate threat, according to ESPN FC .
The Portuguese has been accused of losing the dressing room, as United have gone four games without a win.
Mourinho has also had a high-profile falling out with Paul Pogba, the club’s most expensive recruit.
But United’s owners, the Glazer family, are still thought to be backing the former Chelsea boss.
ESPN FC claim that “there is no current mood to dismiss Mourinho and search for a new manager.”
And they claim that this boils down to three reasons.
The first is that the Glazers want to uphold their reputation for giving managers time to turn things around at Old Trafford.
The second is due to what they see as a lack of alternatives currently available, with several of their coveted bosses in high-profile jobs on long contracts.
And the third is that they believe Mourinho’s track record means he deserves the right to try and navigate the team through their current difficult circumstances.
