Enyimba FC of Aba have confirmed the appointment of Gbenga Ogunbote as their new head coach ahead of the 2016/17 Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, season.
Ogunbote took the place of Paul Aigbogun who led the Peoples Elephant to a disappointing 12th position in the Nigerian topflight last season.
Ogunbote made way for Fatai Amoo at Shooting Stars of Ibadan yesterday and will be looking to return the two time CAF Champions League winners to the submit of the NPFL table.
Enyinba announced via their official Twitter handle, “We are glad to announce that Gbenga Ogunbote has joined us ahead of the new season.”
