Vincent Enyeama will not play in Lille’s next two matches, as he is getting ready to bury his mother.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper and captain, arrived in Nigeria last weekend ahead of the funeral.
Enyeama was suspended for Lille’s last game against Reims last Friday, following his red card against Rennes. But he is eligible to feature against Nantes at home on Tuesday and Montpellier on Friday.
However, the stopper won’t be available, as coach Herve Renard confirmed that he has left because of family pressure.
“There was some changes this weekend, from what was previously planned. The pressure from the family was very high. And then, it will be the international break,” Renard told L’Equipe. .
