Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, has made it clear he is not about to quit the national team.

The Lille player earned his 100th cap for the Super Eagles, in the international friendly against Uganda on Wednesday and hinted he will be available for future call-ups.

“I have to stop at some points but for now I’m still with the Eagles. I’m going to discuss with the coaches and chat the way forward,” he told Super Sports.

Speaking on the game where Nigeria lost 1-0, Enyeama admitted the squad was still getting to know themselves and thanked Nigerians for their support through his 18-year career with the Eagles.

“It is sad we lost against Uganda but I’m grateful for the 100 caps. I want to thank Nigeria and Nigerians all over the world for their support,” he said.

“It is football and you can see that we played with a new team so it will take time to blend.”

The 32-year-old is expected to captain the team, when they face South Africa on Sunday in another friendly match.
