The Super Eagles held their first training session ahead of their AFCON 2015 qualifier against Congo, without the duo of captain Vincent Enyeama and striker Ikechukwu Uche.
They were both excused from the evening session, after they were the last two players to arrive at the Bolton White Apartment in Abuja, where the Eagles are camped.
Stephen Keshi supervised the training, which last for about two hours. Some of the players involved included home-based stars like Chigozie Agbim, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Christian Osuaguna Ighodalo, Tony Edjomariegwe, Solomon Kwambe, Kingsley Sokari, Emem Eduok and Gbolahan Salami.
Preparations for the match in Pointe Noire continues on Wednesday, with Keshi stating that he is satisfied with the level of fitness of the players.
