Lille goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has expressed his disappointment after they lost 2-1 to Paris Saint-Germain in the French Coupe de la Ligue final.
Enyeama, who made three good saves in the opening minutes, took to Instagram to appreciate the club’s supporters, who continued to cheer the team on despite defeat.
“Very disappointed with the result of the game on Saturday but I want to say thank you God and thank you to our amazing supporters.The support was massive. Proud to be a Lillios,” Enyeama posted.
Javier Pastore opened scoring for PSG, before Djibril Sidibe levelled four minutes later. But Angel Di Maria finished neatly past Enyeama in the 74th minute, for what was eventually the winner.
The former Super Eagles stopper, has kept 14 clean sheets in 31 appearances for Lille in Ligue 1 this season and has also made 79 saves.
