Earlier, the Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in Enugu State, said the association had keen interest in sports development, especially in the area of hunting for young talents.
“We decided to take up one of the courts for rehabilitation with the hope that it will help in breeding young talents.
“We are pleased to note that the young category has already commenced. When we catch them young, it will make it easier for us to train world champions.
“Such world champions in the person of Serena Williams started from a very young age. So, we are appealing that this should be taken to schools; courts should be built in some select schools. By playing there, they will come out to be renowned champions”, he stated.
