Enugu govt installs Eze Anyi Ogbu as Nara Unateze traditional ruler

The Enugu State Government on Monday presented Certificate of Recognition and Staff of Office to the new Traditional Ruler of Nara Unateze in Nkanu East Local Government H.R.M. Eze Anyi Ogbu, Eze Odenigbo ll of Nara Unateze.

The event, which took place at the State’s Ministry of Chieftaincy Affairs, attracted notable political stalwarts, traditional rulers and community members.

In a speech, Commissioner for Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Emeka Okeke, reiterated government’s commitment to ensuring that “all communities in the state get equal share of democratic dividends.”

He advised the new monarch to “ensure justice, equity and fairness in your undertakings.”

Okeke maintained that the Enugu under Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi was leaving no stone unturned in entrenching peace and tranquility in all sectors of the state.

Responding, Eze Anyi Ogbu, thanked the community for their support as well as the state government for finding him worthy to serve in the capacity.

Eze Odenigbo ll, who assured of a hitch free reign, called on Ndi Nara to support in his quest to transforming the community.

Onowu Jackon Chukwu, on behalf of other cabinet members and people of the community, restated their resolve to working closely with the state government for the overall interest of Enugu.
